First of all, take a moment of silence and thank God for giving us more time to waste on Earth. Screw the peoples who predicted that the world would end yesterday. So the Mayans calendar end yesterday. You can't just make assumptions. It's a calendar written for 400 years. Who knows they were probably just running out of ink or stone tablets to write on. That would be a better assumption!
Yesterday was quite quiet. There was not much of a buzz in this part of the world but I've read that in China, the believers went all public about it causing police to intervene. In Mexico, believers swarm the Chitchen Itza ruins and held rituals. My knowledge regarding 21.12.2012 is limited but there were no extraordinary phenomenon happened (comets fell/solar flare/three days of darkness etc.) yesterday. Not that I was hoping for it but IMO, the scientists/theorists/archaeologists that came up with 21.12.2012 apocalypse are delusional. Let's just hand over 'this whole end of the world' thing to the nature and the universe. The universe is a always a mystery and no one will ever understand it.
One good thing about yesterday though is that there were relentless meme entries on 9gag and memecenter :)
